Jaipur is one of the most important tourist destinations in India. It is situated in the state of Rajasthan. City Palace:
City Palace is a palace complex in Jaipur known for architectural excellence depicting excellent blend of Rajput and Mughal Architecture. The palace complex contains many beautiful palaces, temples, gardens and a prosperous museum. Important buildings in the complex are Chandra Mahal,Mubarak Mahal, Govind Dev Ji Temple, Sihel Khana, Diwan-I-Khas, Diwan-I-Aam and Museum.
Hawa Mahal:
Hawa Mahal meaning Palace of Winds is a major landmark and tourist attraction in Jaipur. It is excellent example of Rajputana architecture. The place has five storeys and is constructed in red sandstone. It was built by Maharaja Sawai Pratap Singh and designed by Lal Chand Usta. The exterior and interiors of the palace both are eye-catching. It was built for the royal ladies to see and enjoy the activities and processions on the street below without being seen. Today this palace is served as a well-laid out museum showing past and present of Jaipur City.
Amber Fort:
Also known as Amer Fort, this magnificent fort complex is situated atop a hill in the outskirts of Jaipur City. It is about 11 km away from the city. The fort is noted for architecture excellence and style. It is perfect blend of Hindu and Muslim architecture. It is one of the must visit tourist attractions in Jaipur, India. Tourists enjoy elephant ride to the fort from the base of the hill. The fort overlooks wonderful views of the city.
Jaigarh Fort :
It is located around 15 km from the city of Jaipur. It is one of the most impressive forts in India. It is the situated on top of hill on which hill’s bottom Amber Fort is situated. Both forts are well-connectedby well-guarded passages. Here tourists can visit the World’s Largest Cannon on Wheels.
Jantar Mantar :
It is a famous observatory in Jaipur. This royal observatory was built by Maharaja Sawai Jai Singh II in 18th century. It is one of the must visit attractions in Jaipur.
