Mathura is a historical and sacred city in the Indian state of Uttar Pradesh. Situated on the western bank of the river Yamuna, the holy city of Mathura is supposed to be the birth place of lord Krishna at the centre of Braj called Brajbhoomi or Krishnajanmaboomi. It is the holy place where Lord Krishna born and spend his youth.

There is an ancient temple called Keshav Dev Temple (Krishna Janmabhoomi

Temple) on the site of Krishna Birthplace. The temple is one of the must visit attractions of Mathura.
