Varanasi is one of the oldest living cities in the world. It is situated in thVaranasie Indian state of Uttar Pradesh. Kashi Vishwanath Temple:
Located in the heart of holy city Varanasi, the temple stands near the Daswamedh Ghat on the western banks of holy river Ganga. It is the centre of faith for Hindus. It is dedicated to Lord Shiva. It is one of the holiest temples for Hindus.

Durga Temple:
Situated at Durga Kund (a manmade lake) it is a beautiful temple in Varanasi. The temple is dedicated to Goddess Durga 0 the Goddess of Power. The temple is also known as the Monkey Temple, because there are many monkeys present at the temple.

Sankat Mochan Mandir:
Dedicated to Lord Hanuman, it is one of the holiest temples in Varanasi.

Tulsi Manas Temple:
The temple is dedicated to Lord Rama and his consort Sita. It is one of the most popular temples and tourist attractions in the city. The temple is also called Birla Temple. The temple issituated next to the famous Durga Temple.

Bharat Mata Temple:
Located in the campus of the Mahatma Gandhi Kashi Vidyapeeth, it is the only temple in QueryIndia dedicated to Mother India. The temple has not idols or status. It has only a large relief map of India.

Banaras Hindu University:
It is India’s one of the top universities. It is also one of the oldest educational institutions of India. It was founded by Pandit Madan Mohan Malviya in the year of 1917.

The Ghats:
Ghats are also the major attractions of Varanasi tourism. There are a number of ghats in Varanasi where one can see varied rituals being performed. Visitors coming to the Ghats grab the spectacular view of temples and other ghats sailing over the Ganga River.
